Naomi Kuznets

Dr. Kuznets oversees the development and implementation of ambulatory health care performance measurement and benchmarking studies, which can be used for quality improvement (QI), as well as development and dissemination of educational information on topics including step-by-step development of QI activities,  analyses of exemplary QI studies, and evidence-based patient safety toolkits, which include tools such as clinical algorithms to assist clinical decision-making.Dr. Kuznets is a member of the Board of the ASC Quality Collaboration and is the AAAHC/Institute liaison to the National Quality Forum (Quality Measurement Research Improvement Council), Physician Consortium for Performance Improvement, and US Department of Health and Human Services “Eliminating Healthcare Acquired Infections (HAIs)” effort.  In addition to having performance measurement and national clinical guideline development experience at the American Medical Association, Naomi has a doctorate in Education and Social Policy from Northwestern University, and masters’ degree in Physical Education (Athletic Training-Sportsmedicine) from Indiana University. She began her higher education with a bachelors’ degree, with honors, in History and Political Science, from Swarthmore College.
