Primary Care & COVID-19

The coronavirus is having a major impact on patients and the healthcare system—including primary care. Primary care clinicians are among the healthcare workers on the front lines during this health crisis addressing prevention of the virus, triaging patients concerned that they may be infected, and caring for those who are ill. As an organization that represents a broad group of public and private organizations, the Primary Care Collaborative is carrying out its mission to unify and engage diverse stakeholders in promoting policies and sharing best practices that support the growth of high-performing primary care as clinicians and patients grapple with the unprecedented challenges of COVID-19. The items here are ways PCC is collecting and sharing information among the primary care community to support its members and inform policymakers. We have many partners in this work, but we wish to acknowledge in particular the Larry A. Green Center, which we are partnering with to inform, field and disseminate their weekly survey of primary care clinicians, as well as 3rd Conversation
