Rebecca Waber

Rebecca Waber heads the Disruptive Innovation product team for Aetna’s self and fully-insured commercial business.  In this role, she focuses on addressing foundational affordability, access, and quality challenges by approaching them from new angles such as alternative plan design and pricing models.  She is particularly interested in out of pocket costs, behavioral health, and primary care.

Previously, as a consultant for Clay Christensen’s Innosight, she brought new healthcare products and product departments into being across pharmacy, pharma, healthcare consumer goods and provider systems.  Her lens is informed by her background as a behavioral economics researcher at MIT and neurodiversity advocate in educational and legislative circles.  At home in Boston, you can often find her convincing friends & family to join in on town politics or to try some mushrooms she foraged.
