Jason Roush

Jason M. Roush, DDS. was raised in Pleasants County, West Virginia, and graduated from St. Mary’s High School in 1992. He attended West Virginia University, majoring in biology and participated in The Pride of West Virginia Marching Band before entering dental school at WVU.   

After graduating from WVU School of Dentistry in 1998, he was an associate of Delli-Gatti and Mason, Inc. for a short time. In 1999, he opened a private practice in Parkersburg and continues to practice in Wood  County. Dr Roush has previously been on staff at Camden Clark Memorial Hospital, provided dental care at St. Mary’s Correctional Centers, and provided school-based dental care for Jackson and Wirt Counties.   

In 2010, Dr. Roush accepted the position of State Dental Director for West Virginia. He is president of ASTDD and previously chaired the Fluorides Committee. Dr. Roush is also a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Dental Practice and Rural Health for WVU School of Dentistry as well as a member of ADA, WVDA, Delta Sigma Delta, WVU Alumni Association, and a member of the Blennerhassett Dental Society, where he has held office as President and Vice President.   

Dr. Roush and his wife, Lesley, have been married 20 years and reside in Ripley, West Virginia. They are blessed with five children - Julia, Lauren, Joshua, Zachary, and Anna. They are members of Christian Fellowship Outreach Church of Kenna, where he is a Sunday school teacher.
