Dan Garrett

Dan Garrett is a PwC Principal and leads the firm's Health Information Technology practice. Dan works with clients on strategic planning, design and implementation of new business models, leveraging information technology to improve performance, effectiveness and quality at the payer, provider, and community, state and country level. He has participated in some of the largest deployments of electronic health records technologies in the US and abroad.

Dan is actively involved in a number of leading industry associations that are focused on moving the health industry forward. He has served as the Vice Chairman of the Markle Foundation/Robert Wood Johnson Foundation’s “Connecting for Health” initiative. Dan serves on the board of directors for the eHealthInitiative and was appointed to the sustainability committee of American Health Information Community (AHIC). Dan holds a BS in computer and information science from Temple University’s Fox School of Business and is certified at the Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) level by the Association for Operations Management (APICS).
