Chinatown Public Health Center

Practice Description:

Chinatown Public Health Center (CPHC) has been proudly serving San Franciscans and the Chinese community since 1929.

The health clinic offers a full array of services including primary care for adults and children, prenatal care, team-based care, population health disease registries, integrated behavioral health, pediatric dentistry, community health education, public health nutrition, and Women, Infant, and Children Nutrition Supplemental Services.

The Chinatown Public Health Center operates under the San Francisco Health Network, which believes that patients must be active participants in the decision- making process of the health care they receive. Care that is truly patient-centered considers patients’ cultural traditions, their personal preferences and values, their family situations and their lifestyles. It makes the patient and their loved ones an integral part of the care team who collaborate with health care professionals in making clinical decisions.
