All stakeholders in our health system (providers, drug manufacturers, insurers, legislators, etc.) lay claim to being consumer- or patient-centric. But what does this concept mean? At various points in the healthcare engagement life-cycle (from self-care to selecting insurance coverage, to choosing among treatments) what options and support do consumers really want our health system to provide?

Hear expert speakers discuss consumers' real, validated needs and wants with respect to healthcare, the best methods to surface and address those wants and needs, and best practices to amplify and support the consumer voice:

•  Austin FraktThe Incidental Economist, contributor to The New York
   Times
and JAMA Forum and AcademyHealth Blog
•  Caitlin Morris, director of affordability initiatives, Families USA
•  Lynn Quincy, director, Healthcare Value Hub
•  Leena Sharma, project manager, Center for Consumer Engagement
   in Health Innovation, Community Catalyst

Your voice will also be heard—audience polling will be used to see if you agree with our experts.
