Early bird ends 8/30 l New Keynote Announced! l #PCPCC2013

Join us on October 13-15th for the PCPCC Annual Fall Conference! This annual convening of the country's health care leaders will focus on the evolution of the patient-centered medical home, and its foundational role in the larger health system or medical neighborhood.

Just announced! We look forward to an Opening Keynote on Monday, October 14th at 1:30 PM from Christopher F. Koller, President of the Milbank Memorial Fund, and former Health Insurance Commissioner of Rhode Island. During his tenure, Koller played an instrumental role in the Rhode Island Multi-Payer Medical Home Collaborative. Koller will discuss the forthcoming Milbank-sponsored annual PCPCC publication the "Benefits of Implementing the Patient-Centered Medical Home," including learning lessons and models from medical home initiatives throughout the U.S. 

The conference will close on Tuesday, October 15th with a presentation from renowned health economist Len Nichols, who will lead a discussion of the "Politics and Policy of Payment Reform in the Medical Neighborhood." Nichols' talk will draw from national payment reform discussions in Washington around physician payment, SGR repeal, and the health care impact of the federal deficit.

Opening Keynote:
Christopher F. Koller is president of the Milbank Memorial Fund. Prior to the Fund, he served as Rhode Island's Insurance Commissioner, and was a driving force behind the state's multi-payer medical home collaborative.
Closing Keynote:
Len Nichols is the Director of Health Policy at the Center for Health Policy Research and Ethics at George Mason University
. His recent testimony to the U.S. Senate Budget Committee, underscored the economic value of the medical home model.
