PCPCC Awarded the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute’s (PCORI) Eugene Washington Award

Call for Advisory Council Member Volunteers

PCPCC received $250,000 from the Eugene Washington PCORI Engagement Award in June 2018. The award will fund a 17-month project entitled, Promoting Patient-Centered Outcomes Research (PCOR) Dissemination.  The project aims to build PCPCC’s network, infrastructure, expertise and capacity for increasing awareness and understanding of both PCOR and Comparative Effectiveness Research (CER).  PCPCC’s goal in strengthening PCPCC’s dissemination capacity and infrastructure is to increase the translation of research results to front-line clinicians, patients and families and ultimately promote more timely adoption of best practices for primary care.

To ensure the goals of the project are met, we will be establishing an Advisory Council for the program to consist of Patients/Consumers, Clinicians, Employers, Payers and Policymakers. If you have an interest in this project, would like to recommend a potential participant or would like more information, please contact: Merilyn Francis, Project Director, at mfrancis@pcpcc.org.
