Building Agency Capacity for Evaluation Initiative

The Thomas Scattergood Behavioral Health Foundation and The Consultation Center at Yale University School of Medicine are seeking five agencies in the Greater Philadelphia Area to participate in the Building Agency Capacity for Evaluation Initiative. The initiative includes training and consultation services for two years with the goal of enhancing an existing program within your organization. The Foundation and The Consultation Center are in the third year of providing this initiative to agencies and are currently inviting organizations to apply.

Agencies selected to be part of the Building Agency Capacity for Evaluation Initiative will receive training and consultation including:

  • An overview of program evaluation
  • An introduction to logic models and their uses
  • Help in identifying program evaluation needs, goals, methods, and measures appropriate for their program  
  • Assistance in identifying organizational capacities and barriers to program evaluation and sustainability

The agency requirements to apply are:

  • Must be located in the Greater Philadelphia Area
  • Ready and eager to learn about: 
    • Collection of evaluation or continuous quality improvement data
    • Evaluation of impact of services
    • Effective communication of data and findings    
  • Any size agency may apply
  • By submitting an application the organization is agreeing to fully participate in ALL  trainings and consultations
