Deepti Kanneganti

Deepti has performed substantial research and applied work related to quality measures, including measure set development and measure alignment. She has supported the creation, implementation, and maintenance of multi–payer aligned quality measure sets for Massachusetts, Oregon, Rhode Island and Vermont. These measure sets were adopted with the express purpose of applying them in alternative payment model contracts with providers. Deepti also facilitated a process to help Wisconsin identify a measure set to be used in its health plan contracting for state employees and dependents. Finally, Deepti is helping to develop the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation–funded Buying Value Benchmark Repository, a publicly available database of non–HEDIS and modified HEDIS measures in use by state purchasers and related performance data. She also maintains the Buying Value Measure Selection Tool, an online resource to help states develop and maintain aligned quality measure sets.

Deepti's work has also involved financial and statistical analyses. She developed a tool to assist the Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System administer incentive payments for its $300M Targeted Incentive Program across three strategic focus areas, including behavioral health integration projects for adult, pediatric, and criminal justice system populations. She also performed cost modeling of primary care workforce configurations for the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality and for development of ACO solvency standards for Vermont.

Prior to joining Bailit Health, Deepti performed strategic analysis and competitive market intelligence at Boston Biomedical Consultants. She performed quantitative analyses on sub-market and competitor performance for the point–of–care testing in vitro diagnostics market.

Deepti is pursuing a Master of Public Policy degree from Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Health: Science, Society and Policy, Neuroscience, and Biology from Brandeis University.
