Join us as we launch our new campaign to strengthen primary care in all communities through greater investment and better ways to pay for better health.

The pandemic has hit our families and communities hard. To recover and thrive, we must pivot healthcare resources to community-based primary care teams.

At this online event, the PCC, our members and partners will describe our shared vision and the path forward with this campaign, which takes its urgency from the COVID-19 pandemic and the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine report, Implementing High-Quality Primary Care.

Ann Greiner, MCP

President & Chief Executive Officer, Primary Care Collaborative

Ann Greiner serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Primary Care Collaborative (PCC), where she is focused on defining and implementing an advocacy, research and education agenda that furthers comprehensive, team-based and patient-centered primary care. read more

Arturo Martinez-Guijosa

Arturo represents the voice of patients as the patient representative on the board of directors for NAPCRG, a multidisciplinary organization for primary care researchers. He has been a volunteer and member of NAPCRG for 7 years. He is a member of its Patient and Clinician Engagement group, helping to lift up the voices of patients and the community. Arturo believes in patient- and community-centered care and that every person deserves access to high-quality health care. He is currently the Director of Development and Communications at Neighborhood House, a human service organization in Seattle, which creates opportunities for people who face cultural, language, and systemic barriers to live longer, happier, and healthier lives. read more

Asaf Bitton, MD, MPH

Executive Director, Ariadne Labs - Harvard Medical School

Asaf Bitton, MD, MPH, is the executive director of Ariadne Labs, a health systems innovation center at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. He is an Associate Professor of Medicine and Health Care Policy at both Harvard Medical School and the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. A globally recognized leader in health systems innovation, he leads Ariadne Labs’ efforts to design, test, and spread scalable systems-level solutions that improve health care processes, enhance purposeful interactions between patients and their providers, and impact populations at scale. read more

Emily M. Godfrey, MD, MPH

Family medicine physician, University of Washington clinics, Seattle

Dr. Godfrey is an Associate Professor of Family Medicine and Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Washington, Seattle, where she practices full-spectrum family medicine. Dr. Godfrey’s mission is to make high-quality, comprehensive primary care services accessible to all patients. By understanding and working together in the context of their person, partnerships, family and community, she empowers her patients to make choices that help them live healthy lives. read more

Mark Del Monte, JD

CEO/Executive Vice President, American Academy of Pediatrics

Mark Del Monte, JD serves as CEO/Executive Vice President of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP). In this capacity, Mark leads a strong chief executive team for the organization, which serves 67,000 pediatrician, pediatric medical subspecialist, and pediatric surgical specialist members. Prior to this role, Mark served as the AAP’s Chief Deputy and Senior Vice President for Advocacy and External Affairs. In that position, he directed the organization’s communications, public relations and advocacy activities. read more

Rebecca Etz, PhD

Rebecca Etz, PhD, is a cultural anthropologist at Virginia Commonwealth University with expertise in qualitative research methods and design, primary care measures, practice transformation, and engaging stakeholders. She has spent the last ten years dedicated to learning the heart and soul of primary care. Her career has been shaped by iterative research cycles that expose and reflect on the tacit norms and principles of primary care in which clinicians, thought leaders, and patients are equally invested. read more
