Presenter Bio:
Kent A. Corso, Ph.D. is a licensed clinical health psychologist and board certified behavior analyst. He is an OEF veteran and former Air Force officer having over 15 years of research, teaching and training experience in university and medical settings. Dr. Corso currently holds an adjunct assistant professor position in the Department of Family Medicine at the Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences and has published over 15 peer-reviewed articles. Over the last decade, he has developed and managed several primary care behavioral health programs for the military health system. As a subject-matter expert for the Department of Defense, he currently supports clinical and business operations at the National Capital Region Medical Directorate, which enrolls over 137,000 patient beneficiaries. As president of NCR Behavioral Health, Dr. Corso leads an international training and consulting group for private and federal healthcare organizations in pursuit of integrated behavioral health programs which apply population health principles and cutting-edge models to improve patients’ health and return an investment to the system. He is the lead author of Integrating Behavioral Health into the Medical Home: A Rapid Implementation Guide, a new book from Greenbranch Publishing.
