Families for Depression Awareness is presenting a free, 1-hour Coping with Stress and Depression webinar on Thursday, November 20 at 7:00 PM ET / 4:00 PM PT. Designed for adults, family caregivers, human resources managers, and employee assistance program professionals, the webinar covers

  • Practical ways to reduce stress
  • Mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR)
  • How to recognize signs of depression
  • What to do if you or someone you know is suffering from depression
  • What resources are available to you and your family

Our expert presenter is Dr. Annelle B. Primm, Deputy Medical Director of the American Psychiatric Association, Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, and a Distinguished Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association. Dr. Primm is a nationally recognized expert on cultural psychiatry, co-occuring mental illness and substance use disorders, and educating the public about mental illness.
