PCPCC Expands Employer Perspective of its Board of Directors

WASHINGTON, DC – The Patient-Centered Primary Care Collaborative (PCPCC), a leading primary care advocacy organization, today announced that Bill Kramer, the Executive Director for National Health Policy at the Pacific Business Group on Health (PBGH), has joined its Board of Directors

“We are very excited to add Mr. Kramer as the newest member to the PCPCC Board," said PCPCC’s President and Chief Executive Officer, Ann Greiner. "He has a wealth of knowledge and experience in heath care policy. As employers continue to prioritize value-based care and drive innovation, Mr. Kramer’s unique perspective will be invaluable to PCPCC.”

Mr. Kramer has a long and distinguished career in health care. In his current role, he leads PBGH’s work in advancing policy that will improve health care quality and reduce costs. He also serves as Project Director for the Consumer-Purchaser Alliance, a collaborative led by PBGH and the National Partnership for Women & Families to improve the quality and affordability of health care, and he is a member of the National Quality Forum’s Board of Directors. Before taking his position at PBGH, Mr. Kramer led his own consulting practice focused on health reform, finance and business strategy for public and private sector clients. Prior to developing his consulting practice, Mr. Kramer was a senior executive for over 20 years with Kaiser Permanente.

“I am honored to join the PCPCC Board of Directors," said Mr. Kramer. “Advanced primary care is foundational to delivery system transformation, and I am proud to be on the Board of an organization that is focused on achieving the quadruple aim through transformed primary care.”

PCPCC also announced that Lisa Letourneau joined the organization as a Clinical Advisor. Dr. Letourneau is an experienced physician and public health advocate who brings extensive experience leading large-scale improvement initiatives. As the former Executive Director of Maine Quality Counts, a regional health improvement collaborative, Dr. Letourneau headed several multi-stakeholder improvement efforts, including the multi-payer Maine Patient Centered Medical Home Pilot, the Maine Aligning Forces for Quality (AF4Q) initiative, and the Northern New England Practice Transformation Network.
