La. Blue Cross Quality Blue program recognized by national association

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana’s Quality Blue program will be featured at a Capitol Hill briefing Tuesday as a best practice for getting better-quality health care at a more affordable price.

The program will be included in the national Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association briefing at the U.S. Capitol Building in Washington, D.C. The national association will release its “The Patient-Centered Medical Home’s Impact on Cost and Quality” report.
 

The 2016 report highlights the Louisiana association’s Quality Blue results, which the company said led to improved health results at a lower cost.
